The development of the Urology ‘One Stop Shop’ service for our patients has been fantastic because it means that patients are able to receive the care, attention and expert support much closer to home, without having to make multiple visits to the hospital in the city centre.

Our previous premises were a dilapidated 1960’s flat roof building. We now have a modern purpose built high quality facility that has enabled us to develop our primary care service to the highest level as well as helping us to deliver diagnostics in the community with endoscopy, cystoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, x-ray facilities and a whole range of ancillary medical facilities including a dentist, chiropractor, physiotherapist and a pharmacy. We are delighted!

Oaklands Health Centre Testimonials

Locating the pharmacy within the health centre has brought enormous benefits to patients and to our practice. Our patients are able to access on site pharmacy advice without having to travel to another site and we have been able to develop a number of complimentary services which benefit patients greatly.

In the mid-90s we started talking seriously about the need to move into larger premises. Now that the centre is complete and up and running, we are delighted with the new modern building and the health services we can offer.
